5:27a Therefore, the leprosy of Naaman will cling to you

⌊Therefore⌋ Naaman’s leprosy will come/transfer to you (sing.)

You (sing.) will get/receive Naaman’s skin disease.

⌊The prophet told Gehazi that⌋ the leprosy that Naaman had would come to/upon him instead,

5:27b and your descendants forever!”

and to your (sing.) descendants forever.”

-or-

Your children and their children will have ⌊this skin disease⌋ for all time.”

-or-

to/upon him and his descendants, with no end.

5:27c And as Gehazi left his presence,

And when Gehazi left Elisha,

-or-

Then Gehazi left Elisha,

5:27d he was leprous—

he was covered with leprosy

and he had the skin disease.

5:27e as white as snow.

and his skin was white like snow.

His skin was pure white.
