SIL Translator’s Notes on 2 Kings 5:19

5:19a “Go in peace,” said Elisha.

Elisha said, “You (sing.) may go ⌊back home⌋ in peace.”

-or-

Elisha replied, “Go (sing.) ⌊home⌋ and do not worry about that.”

-or-

Elisha told Naaman that he could go ⌊home⌋ in peace.

5:19b But after Naaman had traveled a short distance,

So Naaman set off. Soon after

-or-

Then Naaman ⌊and his men left and⌋ began their journey.

-or-

So Naaman started to travel back home.
