5:14a So Naaman went down

So Naaman went down ⌊to the River Jordan⌋ ,

-or-

And so Naaman went/rode ⌊to the Jordan River⌋ .

5:14b and dipped himself in the Jordan seven times,

lowered himself into/under it seven times,

-or-

⌊He entered the river⌋ and went down under the/its water seven times.

5:14c according to the word of the man of God,

as the man of God had told him ⌊to do⌋ .

-or-

⌊He did⌋ what the prophet ⌊Elisha⌋ had instructed him ⌊to do⌋ .

So, just as ⌊Elisha⌋ the man of God had told him to do, Naaman went down to the Jordan River and dipped himself in it seven times.

-or-

And so Naaman ⌊decided⌋ to do as Elisha the man of God had instructed him. He went down to the Jordan River and seven times put/lowered himself under the surface of the water.

5:14d and his flesh was restored and became like that of a little child, and he was clean.

Then his skin became healthy, just as it had been when he was a young boy. It/He was ⌊ritually⌋ pure/clean!

Then his skin became as smooth as that of a child! It/He was purified/healed ⌊from the defiling skin disease⌋ !
