The rivers of Damascus, the Abana and the Pharpar,

⌊Besides,⌋ ⌊in my country⌋ by/near Damascus, there are two ⌊good/clean⌋ rivers, the Abana River and the Pharpar River.
5:12b better than all the waters of Israel?
are better/nicer than all the rivers in Israel, are they not?

They are both cleaner than any river ⌊here⌋ in Israel!
5:12c Could I not have washed in them and been cleansed?”
Can I not become clean/pure by washing in them?”

Surely I could have washed ⌊myself⌋ in either of those rivers and removed the impure/defiling ⌊skin disease⌋ !”
5:12d So he turned and went away in a rage.
So he/Naaman turned around and went away in great anger.

Then Naaman turned and departed. He was very angry.
