4:44a So he set it before them,
So the servant gave it to the prophets.

4:44b and they ate
After/When they had eaten ⌊plenty/enough⌋ ,

They ate it
4:44c and had some left over,
they still had some remaining.

4:44d according to the word of the LORD.
⌊This happened exactly⌋ as Yahweh had promised.
