4:14a So he asked, “Then what should be done for her?”

“What ⌊good deed/thing⌋ can we do for her?” Elisha asked ⌊Gehazi⌋ .

Elisha said ⌊to Gehazi⌋ , “Then what should we do to help her?”

4:14b “Well, she has no son,” Gehazi replied,

Gehazi answered, “She has no son,

-or-

He replied, “She does not have any sons

4:14c “and her husband is old.”

and her husband is ⌊quite⌋ old.”

-or-

and her husband is ⌊becoming/getting⌋ old.”
