3:20a The next morning, at the time of the morning sacrifice,

The next morning, at the time for offering/burning the ⌊regular⌋ sacrifice,

-or-

Very early the next ⌊day⌋ , when it was time to give/make the morning sacrifice ⌊to Yahweh⌋ ,

3:20b water suddenly flowed from the direction of Edom

suddenly water was flowing toward them from Edom!

-or-

they were surprised to see water! It was coming/moving down from Edom ⌊to the place where they were⌋ .

3:20c and filled the land.

And the land/earth was covered by water.

-or-

Water filled the land/valley!
