25:7a And they slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes.

⌊The soldiers⌋ killed the sons of Zedekiah in his sight/presence.

While Zedekiah watched, they killed his sons.

Zedekiah had to watch as the soldiers/men of Babylon put his sons to death.

25:7b Then they put out his eyes, bound him with bronze shackles,

They blinded/destroyed his eyes, tied him with bronze chains,

They blinded him and tied ⌊his hands/legs⌋ with chains made of bronze ⌊metal⌋ .

Afterwards they made him blind. Then they tied him with ⌊strong⌋ metal chains

25:7c and took him to Babylon.

and took him ⌊away⌋ to Babylon.

Then they led him away to ⌊the city of⌋ Babylon.

and forced him to go with them to Babylon.
