SIL Translator’s Notes on 2 Kings 25:21

25:21a There at Riblah in the land of Hamath, the king of Babylon struck them down and put them to death.

The king ordered that they be killed there in Riblah, in the land of Hamath. ⌊And this was done.⌋

Then by order of the king, ⌊the soldiers/men of Babylon⌋ killed them ⌊all⌋ there at Riblah in the land of Hamath.

25:21b So Judah was taken into exile, away from its own land.

So ⌊the people of⌋ Judah were taken into captivity, away from their land.

This is how ⌊the people of⌋ Judah went into exile far away from their land.
