23:30a From Megiddo his servants carried his body in a chariot,

The servants of Josiah brought his body on a chariot

23:30b brought him to Jerusalem, and buried him in his own tomb.

from Megiddo to Jerusalem and buried it in his own grave.

23:30c Then the people of the land took Jehoahaz son of Josiah,

Then the people of the land ⌊of Judah⌋ chose Josiah’s son Jehoahaz

23:30d anointed him, and made him king in place of his father.
