22:9a And Shaphan the scribe went to the king

Shaphan the scribe/writer returned to the king

Afterwards Shaphan went

22:9b and reported,

and made/gave a report to him. He/Shaphan said,

to report to the king. He told the king that

22:9c “Your servants have paid out the money

“The people who serve you (sing.) ⌊at the temple⌋ have paid out the money

his temple officers/supervisors had entrusted the money

22:9d that was found in the temple

that was in the house of Yahweh.

from the temple

22:9e and have put it into the hands of the workers and supervisors of the house of the LORD.”

They have given it to the workers and those who supervise ⌊the work of repairing⌋ the house.”

to those working on and overseeing the temple repairs.
