Section 21:1-18

Amon ruled the land/kingdom of Judah

21:19a Amon was twenty-two years old when he became king,

Amon became king at the age of 22.

Amon was twenty-two (22) years old when he began to rule ⌊Judah⌋ as king.

21:19b and he reigned in Jerusalem two years.

He ruled for two years from Jerusalem.

-or-

He ruled for two years while living in Jerusalem.

21:19c His mother’s name was Meshullemeth

His mother was called/named Meshullemeth.

-or-

The name of Amon’s mother was Meshullemeth.

21:19d daughter of Haruz; she was from Jotbah.

Haruz was her father. She was from ⌊the town of⌋ Jotbah.

-or-

She was the daughter of Haruz and was from ⌊a town called⌋ Jotbah.
