SIL Translator’s Notes on 2 Kings 21:14

21:14a So I will forsake the remnant of My inheritance

I will abandon my remaining/surviving people.

-or-

I will reject those of my people who survive/remain.

21:14b and deliver them into the hands of their enemies.

I will let their enemies overpower/defeat them.

-or-

I will leave them to be conquered by their enemies.

21:14c And they will become plunder and spoil to all their enemies,

They will be captured and their things stolen/taken by all their enemies.

-or-

Their many enemies will make them captives/prisoners and steal their property/possessions.
