15:30a Then Hoshea son of Elah led a conspiracy against Pekah son of Remaliah.

Then Hoshea the son of Elah plotted to kill Pekah the son of Remaliah.

Then Hoshea the son of Elah secretly planned to remove/kill ⌊King⌋ Pekah.

15:30b In the twentieth year of Jotham son of Uzziah,

When Jotham the son of Uzziah had been ⌊king of Judah⌋ for twenty years,

Uzziah’s son Jotham had been ⌊ruling Judah⌋ for twenty (20) years

15:30c Hoshea attacked Pekah, killed him,

Hoshea attacked Pekah and killed him.

when Hoshea murdered Pekah

15:30d and reigned in his place.

Then Hoshea began to rule ⌊Israel⌋ in his place.

and himself became the next king ⌊of Israel⌋ .
