15:29a In the days of Pekah king of Israel,

At the time when Pekah was the king of Israel,

15:29b Tiglath-pileser king of Assyria came

Tiglath Pileser king of Assyria came/invaded ⌊Israel⌋ .

King Tiglath Pileser led/brought the Assyrian army ⌊to attack Israel⌋ .

15:29c and captured Ijon, Abel-beth-maacah, Janoah, Kedesh, Hazor,

He conquered ⌊the cities of⌋ Ijon, Abel Beth Maakah, Janoah, Kedesh and Hazor.

-or-

His men/army captured ⌊these cities,⌋ Ijon and Abel Beth Maakah and Janoah and Kedesh and Hazor.

15:29d Gilead, and Galilee,

He conquered ⌊the lands of⌋ Gilead and Galilee,

-or-

They ⌊also⌋ captured ⌊the regions of⌋ Gilead and Galilee,

15:29e including all the land of Naphtali,

including the whole territory of Naphtali.

-or-

and the entire territory of Naphtali.

15:29f and he took the people as captives to Assyria.

He banished/removed the people ⌊in these places from their land to the land of⌋ Assyria.

Tiglath Pileser then forced the people ⌊who lived in these places⌋ to leave and go to Assyria.
