14:12a And Judah was routed before Israel,

⌊The people/men of⌋ Judah were defeated by ⌊the people/men of⌋ Israel.

⌊The army of⌋ Israel was victorious over ⌊the army of⌋ Judah.

14:12b and every man fled to his home.

All ⌊Amaziah’s men/soldiers⌋ tried to escape to their tents/homes.
