SIL Translator’s Notes on 2 Kings 11:19

11:19a He took with him the commanders of hundreds, the Carites, the guards, and all the people of the land,

He then took with him the army captains, the Carite soldiers, the guards, and the whole crowd of people.

He called for the military officers, the royal bodyguards, the palace guards, and all the people who were present there to join him.

11:19b and they brought the king down from the house of the LORD

They gathered together and led the king from the house of Yahweh

They all stayed with the king as he left the house of Yahweh

11:19c and entered the royal palace by way of the Gate of the Guards.
