1:11a So the king sent to Elijah another captain with his fifty men.

Then the king sent to Elijah another ⌊army⌋ captain/commander with his fifty men/soldiers.

So King Ahaziah told another officer to take the fifty soldiers in his company/group and go ⌊to arrest⌋ Elijah.

1:11c And the captain said to Elijah,

The captain/commander said to Elijah,

This army officer ⌊went and⌋ said to Elijah/him,

1:11d “Man of God, the king declares,

“Man of God, this is what the king orders ⌊you (sing.) ⌋ ,

“⌊You (sing.) ⌋ prophet of God, the king commands

1:11e ‘Come down at once!’”

‘Come (sing.) down right away!’”

that you (sing.) come down quickly/immediately!”
