Section 11:1-21

Jehosheba and Jehoida saved the young prince Joash from death

11:1a When Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead,

Athaliah the queen mother heard that her son Ahaziah was dead.

-or-

As soon as Ahaziah’s mother Athaliah learned that he was dead,

-or-

Athaliah⌊ ⌋ received news/word that her son Ahaziah ⌊the king of Judah⌋ had been killed. At once

11:1b she proceeded to annihilate all the royal heirs.

She immediately started to kill all the ⌊remaining⌋ children/sons of the king.

-or-

she promptly ordered/had all the members of the royal family ⌊of Judah⌋ put to death.

-or-

she ordered ⌊her soldiers⌋ to go and kill/slaughter everyone ⌊else⌋ in the family line of King ⌊David⌋ .
