6:28a When famine or plague comes upon the land,

“There may be famine in the land, or sickness.

“There might be times when there is not enough food. There may be disease/illness in the land.

6:28b or blight or mildew

(God’s Word🙂 heat waves, funguses,

Heat or mildew,

⌊The crops might wither⌋ from the hot desert winds, or ⌊fail due to⌋ fungus,

6:28c or locusts or grasshoppers,

locusts or grasshoppers ⌊could destroy the crops⌋.
-or-
or from ⌊swarms of⌋ locusts.

6:28d or when their enemies besiege them in their cities,

Enemies might lay siege to any of their cities.

Any of the cities in the land could be surrounded and attacked by enemies.

6:28e whatever plague or sickness may come,

When there is any disaster or any disease,

If any kind of suffering or sickness happens,
