32:33a And Hezekiah rested with his fathers and was buried in the upper tombs of David’s descendants.

Hezekiah died and was buried with his ancestors. They buried him on the hill where the other descendants of David are.

King Hezekiah died and they buried him on the hill ⌊in Jerusalem⌋ where the other kings are buried.

32:33b All Judah and the people of Jerusalem paid him honor at his death.

When he died, all the people in Jerusalem and Judah gave him full honors.

Then King Hezekiah died. Jerusalem’s people, along with all the people in Judah, honored him with a large funeral. They put his body in a grave next to the graves of King David’s descendants.

32:33c And his son Manasseh reigned in his place.

Hezekiah’s son Manasseh became king ⌊of Judah⌋ after him.
