29:24a And the priests slaughtered the goats

Then the priests killed the goats

and the sacrificers killed them

29:24b and put their blood on the altar for a sin offering, to make atonement for all Israel,

and splashed the blood on the altar. It was a sin offering to make all the people of Israel right ⌊in the eyes of Yahweh⌋.

and threw the blood against the sacrifice platform. They did this as a sacrifice for sin, the sin that all the people of Israel had done.

29:24c because the king had ordered the burnt offering and the sin offering for all Israel.

They did this because the king ordered them to make burnt offerings and sin offerings for all the people of Israel.

It was King Hezekiah who commanded ⌊the priests⌋ to make completely burned sacrifices ⌊to Yahweh⌋ and to make sacrifices for the sin of the people of Israel.
