25:10a So Amaziah dismissed the troops who had come to him from Ephraim and sent them home.

So Amaziah sent home the soldiers from the clan of Ephraim.

⌊When he heard this,⌋ King Amaziah sent away the men of Ephraim, so that they could return to their homes.

25:10b And they were furious with Judah

But they were very angry with the people of Judah

25:10c and returned home in great anger.
