Section 24:1-16

King Joash was king of Judah

24:1a Joash was seven years old when he became king,

Joash became king when he was seven years old.
-or-
When Joash was seven (7) years old, he started to rule as king ⌊of Judah⌋.

24:1b and he reigned in Jerusalem forty years.

He was king in Jerusalem for forty years.
-or-
He ruled as king for forty (40) years from Jerusalem.

24:1c His mother’s name was Zibiah;

The name of his mother was Zibiah.
-or-
His mother was called Zibiah.

24:1d she was from Beersheba.

She was from ⌊the town of⌋ Beersheba.
-or-
She came from ⌊the town of⌋ Beersheba.
