23:6a No one is to enter the house of the LORD

No one must enter the temple of Yahweh
-or-
Do not let anyone come into the house of Yahweh

23:6b except the priests and those Levites who serve;

except the priests and the Levites who are on duty.
-or-
but the sacrificers and those of the Levites who have work to do there.

23:6c they may enter because they are consecrated,

They may enter because they are ritually pure,
-or-
They may go in because they are chosen by Yahweh ⌊to serve in the Temple⌋.

23:6d but all the people are to obey the requirement of the LORD.

but all the others are to obey Yahweh’s instructions not to enter.
-or-
The rest of the people must stay outside as Yahweh has said.
