21:20a When Elijah arrived, Ahab said to him, “So you have found me out, my enemy.”

The Hebrew text says, “Have you found me, my enemy?” This is a rhetorical question that functions to emphasize Ahab’s words.

Ahab said to Elijah, “So, my enemy, you (sing) have found me!”
-or-
When Ahab saw Elijah, he said, “My enemy, you have found me!”

21:20b He replied, “I have found you out

Elijah said, “I have found you.
-or-
Elijah replied/answered, “Yes, I have.

21:20c because you have sold yourself to do evil in the sight of the LORD.

(New Revised Standard Version🙂 Because you have sold yourself to do what is evil in the sight of the Lord,

You (sing) have spent your life doing what is evil in Yahweh’s sight. So
-or-
You have dedicated/given your life to doing what Yahweh considers to be wrong/bad. And so
-or-
You have decided/chosen to live your life in a way that you know does not please Yahweh. Because of that,
