18:21a Then Elijah approached all the people and said,

Literally: Until when will you be limping on two branches/crutches?
“How much time will it take you (plur) to decide between the two ways/options?

“You (plur) cannot continue forever without choosing/deciding ⌊whom you will worship⌋.
-or-
“You cannot ⌊serve⌋ two ⌊gods⌋. You must choose.
18:21c If the LORD is God, follow Him.
If Yahweh is God, worship (plur) him.
-or-
If the true God is Yahweh, you (plur) should serve/choose Yahweh.
18:21d But if Baal is God, follow him.”
If Baal is God, then worship (plur) him.”
-or-
But if it is Baal, you (plur) should serve/choose Baal.”
18:21e But the people did not answer a word.
But none of the people answered him.

But the crowd was silent.
