16:19a because of the sins he had committed,

because of his sins.

16:19b doing evil in the sight of the LORD and following the example of Jeroboam

He had done evil in the sight of Yahweh and had acted in the same way as Jeroboam had.

He had done what Yahweh said was evil. He had lived/behaved like ⌊King⌋ Jeroboam.

16:19c and the sin he had committed and had caused Israel to commit.

He also sinned by causing/making ⌊the people of⌋ Israel to sin.

He had led/encouraged the Israelites to sin, ⌊just as Jeroboam had done⌋.
