15:6 And there was war between the houses of Rehoboam and Jeroboam all the days of Abijam’s life.

The Hebrew text says that there was war between “Rehoboam and Jeroboam.” The war began in the days of King Rehoboam.

The war ⌊that had started⌋ between Rehoboam and Jeroboam continued all the days of Abijah’s life.

During the entire lifetime of Abijah, the soldiers/army of Judah continued to fight the soldiers/army of Israel.
