15:30a because of the sins Jeroboam had committed and had caused Israel to commit,

This happened because Jeroboam sinned ⌊himself⌋ and because he caused Israel to sin.

All this was because of Jeroboam’s own sins and because of the sins that he had led/encouraged the people of Israel to do.

15:30b and because he had provoked the LORD, the God of Israel, to anger.

He had angered Yahweh, the God of Israel.

Those sins had made Yahweh, God of Israel, furious.
