15:20a And Ben-hadad listened to King Asa

King Ben-Hadad listened to King Asa ⌊and agreed to do this⌋.

So King Ben-Hadad did what King Asa had asked.

15:20b and sent the commanders of his armies against the cities of Israel,

He sent his army commanders to attack the towns in Israel.

He sent his military leaders ⌊and their men⌋ to attack ⌊several/various⌋ towns in Israel.

15:20c conquering Ijon, Dan, Abel-beth-maacah, and the whole land of Naphtali, including the region of Chinnereth.

They captured Ijon, Dan, Abel Beth Maakah and all Kinnereth in addition to Naphtali.

They defeated/overcame ⌊the towns of⌋ Ijon, Dan, and Abel Beth Maakah, the area near Lake Galilee, and ⌊the territory of the tribe of⌋ Naphtali.
