1:37a Just as the LORD was with my lord the king,

As Yahweh has been with my lord and king,

In the same way as Yahweh has upheld/supported ⌊you⌋, my master the king,

1:37b so may He be with Solomon and make his throne even greater than that of my lord King David.”

may Yahweh also be with Solomon. May Yahweh make his throne very high/strong, even higher/stronger than yours, my lord King David!”

may he also uphold/support Solomon. My master King David, you have been a great/powerful king. Now may Solomon be a very/exceedingly great/powerful king!”
