He worshiped Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonian people.

Solomon served the goddess Ashtoreth whom the people of Sidon ⌊town⌋ worshiped.

11:5b and Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites.

The Hebrew text says “and Milcom….” It is probable but not certain that this is another name for the god Molek, who is mentioned in 11:7c.

He also worshiped Milcom the abomination of the Ammonite people.

He also worshiped/served the despicable/loathsome god Molek whom the people of ⌊the land of⌋ Ammon worshiped.
