11:23a And God raised up against Solomon another adversary, Rezon the son of Eliada,

God also caused another man to become Solomon’s enemy. He/This was Rezon son of Eliada.

11:23b who had fled from his master, Hadadezer king of Zobah,

He had run away from his lord/commander, Hadadezer, who was the king of Zobah.
