Section 11:14-43

God allowed enemies to cause trouble for Solomon

11:14a Then the LORD raised up against Solomon an adversary, Hadad the Edomite,

Then Yahweh caused Hadad from Edom to become Solomon’s enemy.
-or-
So Yahweh gave Solomon an enemy, a man from Edom named Hadad,

11:14b from the royal line of Edom.

He was from the royal family of Edom.
-or-
who belonged to the family of the king of Edom.
