5:23a Now the people of the half-tribe of Manasseh were numerous.

The half-tribe of Manasseh was made up of many people.

There were lots of people in the half-tribe of Manasseh.

5:23b They settled in the land from Bashan to Baal-hermon

They lived in the land which was from Bashan to Baal-hermon.

They lived in the land from ⌊the region of⌋ Bashan to Baal-hermon.

5:23c (that is, Senir, also known as Mount Hermon).

Baal Hermon is also known as Senir or Mount Hermon.

People call⌋ Baal-hermon by the names Senir/Seir or Hermon mountain.

5:23a-c (combined)

There were many people in the half tribe of Manasseh. They lived in the place called Bashan. Their borders were Baal-Hermon, Senir and the mountain called Hermon. (Easy English Bible)

There were many people of the clan of East Manasseh. They settled in the region of Bashan as far north as Baal-hermon, which people also call Senir/Seir or the mountain of Hermon.
