Section 27:25-34 These were the men in charge of King David’s property

27:25a Azmaveth son of Adiel was in charge of the royal storehouses.

Adiel’s son Azmaveth supervised the king’s storehouses/treasuries ⌊in Jerusalem⌋ .

Azmaveth was responsible for the storerooms in the palace of King ⌊David⌋ . Azmaveth’s father was Adiel.

27:25b Jonathan son of Uzziah was in charge of the storehouses in the country,

Uzziah’s son Jonathan supervised the storehouses in the rest of Israel. The storehouses were in the fields/countryside,

Jonathan was responsible for the storehouses elsewhere. Jonathan’s father was Uzziah.

27:25c in the cities, in the villages, and in the fortresses.

in the towns/cities, in the villages, and in the fortresses.
