26:1a These were the divisions of the gatekeepers: From the Korahites:

The gatekeepers/doorkeepers were divided into groups. ⌊Korah was descended from the tribe of Levi.⌋ The gatekeepers from Korah’s clan were

These were the gatekeepers ⌊for the temple of Yahweh⌋ according to their clans. Korah was a descendant of Levi’s son Kohath.

26:1b Meshelemiah son of Kore, one of the sons of Asaph.
