As time went by, King Nahash of the Ammonites died,

Some time later, Nahash, the king of the Ammon ⌊people⌋ died.

19:1b and was succeeded by his son.

and his son became king ⌊after him⌋ .

King Nahash’s son ⌊Hanun⌋ became king ⌊in his place⌋ .
