The Hebrew that is translated as “(The Lord was with him and let) none of his words fall to the ground” or similar in English is translated in Mambwe-Lungu as “(The Lord was with him and caused) the people to eat Samuel’s words before any one of them could fall to the ground” using a widely used expression.
