Most translations are transliteration from the Greek “Deuteronomion” (“second law”), that is, they spell it in their own alphabet. However, some translators may wish to have a more meaningful title; for example, “Explanation of the Law” (Thai Common Language Bible, publ. 1985). (p. 11)
