6:2a Cross over to Calneh and see;

Pass through Kalneh and examine it.

6:2b go from there to the great Hamath;

From there go (plur.) to the big ⌊city of⌋ Hamath.

Then move (plur.) from ⌊the city of Kalneh⌋ and ⌊look at⌋ the big city of Hamath.

6:2c then go down to Gath of the Philistines.

Then go (plur.) down ⌊south⌋ to the city of Gath in ⌊the region of⌋ Philistia ⌊and see⌋ .

After that, go (plur.) ⌊south⌋ to ⌊the city of⌋ Gath that belongs to the Philistines ⌊and see what happened there⌋ .

6:2d–e Are you better than these kingdoms? Is their territory larger than yours?
