Section 20:1-17

The people of Israel gathered to fight with the clan of Benjamin

20:1a Then all the Israelites from Dan to Beersheba and from the land of Gilead came out,

Then all the Israel people gathered together. They came from as far as ⌊the towns of⌋ the Dan clan all the way to Beersheba town, and also from the region of Gilead.

All the people of Israel came. They came from as far as Dan ⌊in the north⌋ , from Beersheba ⌊in the south⌋ , and from the land of Gilead ⌊in the east⌋ .

20:1b and the congregation assembled as one man before the LORD at Mizpah.

They gathered together as one people. They gathered before Yahweh at Mizpah town.

They came together before Yahweh at the town of Mizpah ⌊in the land of Benjamin⌋ .
