14:21a Then all the people of Judah took Azariah, who was sixteen years old,
Azariah is more commonly referred to as Uzziah (see for example 2 Chronicles 26-27 and Isaiah 6:1). You may wish to use the form of the name as it occurs in the Bible of the major language in your area.
Judah’s people called/chose the sixteen-year-old Uzziah.

All the people ⌊in the land⌋ of Judah appointed Uzziah ⌊as Judah’s king⌋ . ⌊At that time⌋ he was sixteen (16) years old.
14:21b and made him king in place of his father Amaziah.
They made him their king to take the place of his father Amaziah.

The people caused him to rule Judah after/following his father Amaziah.

Afterward the people brought out Uzziah, the sixteen-year-old son of ⌊the dead⌋ King Amaziah. They made him the new/next king of Judah.
