22:27a and tell them that this is what the king says: ‘Put this man in prison

Tell (sing) ⌊them⌋ that the king says, ‘Put (plur) this man in prison/jail.

Tell (sing) ⌊them⌋ that I said to lock him up.

He was to give Amon and Joash this message: The king says to to put Micaiah in prison.

22:27b and feed him only bread and water until I return safely.’”

Feed him only a little bread and water until I come back in peace.’”

Give him only ⌊prison rations of⌋ bread and water until I come home safely/peacefully/unharmed.”
-or-
Until the king comes/returns safely ⌊from the battle,⌋ he/Micaiah is to have/receive nothing except a little bread and water.”
