22:28a But Micaiah replied, “If you ever return safely,

Micaiah said, “If you (sing) really/actually do return in peace,

But Micaiah said to him that that day would never come. ⌊The king’s death⌋ would prove

22:28b the LORD has not spoken through me.”

Yahweh was not speaking through me.”

⌊it means that I was wrong⌋. Yahweh did not speak ⌊to you⌋ by/through me.”

that Yahweh had in fact been speaking through Micaiah.

22:28c Then he added, “Take heed, all you people!”

He also said, “Hear/Listen, (plur) everyone!”

Finally, he said, “All of you, remember (plur) what I said!”

Then he/Micaiah called on everyone present to remember what he had said.
