21:6a Ahab answered, “Because I spoke to Naboth the Jezreelite and told him,

21:6b ‘Give me your vineyard for silver,

‘Sell (sing) your vineyard to me for money/silver.
-or-
to let me buy his vineyard with cash.

21:6c or if you wish, I will give you another vineyard in its place.’

Or, if you desire/want, I will give you a different vineyard in exchange.’
-or-
I ⌊even⌋ offered to let him have a different vineyard instead, if that seemed better to him.

21:6d And he replied, ‘I will not give you my vineyard!’”

But Naboth answered, ‘I will not give/sell my vineyard to you.’”

But he refused to let me have his vineyard.”
