18:23a Get two bulls for us.

Lead/Bring (plur) two young bulls here to us. (excl.)
-or-
Give (plur) us two young bulls ⌊to sacrifice⌋.
-or-
We (excl.) need two bulls ⌊for a test/trial⌋.

18:23b Let the prophets of Baal choose one bull for themselves,

Let/Have (plur) the prophets of Baal choose one of the bulls ⌊to sacrifice⌋.
-or-
The prophets of Baal can select/take one of the bulls,

18:23c cut it into pieces, and place it on the wood

Let/Have (plur) them cut/chop the bull into pieces. They may place the pieces on the firewood,
-or-
cut it in pieces, and put it on the wood ⌊of their altar⌋.

18:23d but not light the fire.

but they may not start/light the fire.
-or-
However, they must not set it on fire.

18:23e And I will prepare the other bull and place it on the wood

I will prepare the other bull ⌊for a sacrifice/offering⌋ and will lay/place the pieces on the firewood ⌊too⌋,
-or-
I will do the same with the other bull,

18:23f but not light the fire.

but/and I will not start/light the fire.

and I will not set it on fire ⌊either⌋.
