23:18a Moreover, Jehoiada put the oversight of the house of the LORD into the hands of the Levitical priests,

Then Jehoiada put the work of Yahweh’s temple in the charge of the Levitical priests.

Then Jehoiada made the sacrificers who were Levites be in charge of the house of Yahweh.

23:18c whom David had appointed over the house of the LORD,

David had given them assignments in the temple

King David had given them jobs in the temple

23:18d to offer burnt offerings to the LORD

to make the burnt offerings for Yahweh

to offer the completely burned sacrifices to Yahweh

23:18e as is written in the Law of Moses,
