22:3a Ahaziah also walked in the ways of the house of Ahab,

Ahaziah followed the example of King Ahab’s family,

King Ahaziah did the wrong things that King Ahab and his descendants had done.

22:3b for his mother was his counselor in wickedness.

because his mother was his teacher in doing wicked things.
